Prison Inmate Marvin Heggebo Dies
FORT MADISON – Marvin Lee Heggebo was pronounced dead due to natural causes at 4:50 a.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2023, in a hospice room of the Iowa State Penitentiary. Heggebo was 74 years old at the time of his death.
Heggebo had been serving a 25-year maximum term for the crime of Sex Abuse 2nd Degree from Black Hawk County. His sentence began on July 26, 2017.
