Information about sending care packages.
Am I allowed to send my loved one care packages of food or items from home?
Due to safety and security concerns, food and other items may only be sent via the offender care package program. Please note that the offender care package program is only available during the holidays. Information regarding this program may be found on the Iowa Prison Industries website at www.iaprisonind.com. You may also deposit funds into the offender's account so they may purchase their own items through the Canteen. Central Canteen Holiday Gift Package Orders
Holiday Gift Packages may be ordered through the Iowa Prison Industries Central Canteen.
- Orders will be accepted November 1st at 8:00am through November 30th at 4:30pm.
- Gift packages will be delivered from December 19th through December 23rd (tentative dates).
- Institutions may limit the number of gift packages an offender receives at their discretion
